3000 Camera-Flowers





This impressive field of tiny turquoise forget-me-not cameras has been created by Andre Feliciano - Brazilian artist recently comissioned by the United Photo Industries. His first installation presented to the American art lovers features over 3000 minature camera-flowers emerging from among leaves of grass. Andre has become familiar to the world's audience only just recently, but his Brazilian career path has been long and breath-taking. He had his exhibitions at Sao Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM), the Tomie Ohtake Institute and Sao Paulo’s Geothe Institute. Personally I find him one of the greatest modern art talents who may become as big as Christo and Jeanne-Claude or Yayoi Kusama if he keeps his mind and projects fresh. Good luck, Andre! Cinematheque is very happy to launch a new call for 2009 for artists workind enrirely in Flash. Theme: Flash - as a medium and tool for artistic creations.

Films/animations must be created between 2000 and 2009.

ARTISTIC, non-commercial and not for any particular client.
Max. 1000x7000 pixels.
Up to 3 films.
Up to 1 MB - upload via Cinematheque website.
Bigger than 1 MB- upload via www.SENDSPACE.com.
Deadline
